CWC is dead

hi, i doubt anyone will read this but to the few that do, cwc is dead

now i know it's not surprising, i haven't done any writing on the blog and my cave story related activities has been put to a halt since 2023

as for you cwc, quite a nasty piece of work you've managed over there, i am impressed, this mod wasn't really cancelled just in a stasis, a portion of it was put in the capable hands of Suote, thing is last update i got from him was in 2023 and nowadays, he's literally gone from the internet, he prob runs with a new identity out there as i know he told me about his itch.io games and that he was planning to polishing what he had done on the mod after he was done with his vn but i have never seen him since

i tried to ask him about it but i got really sick in 2024, then we both got busy and we basically never catched up on it.

my experience with the csmc was one of troubled matters, lots of troublemakers and people who abuse their notoriety along with some truly shitty behaviors by the people i once considered "friends" made it that i consider this experience as one needed to develop a backbone but it still left some sour memories.

For now, i want to keep my memories related to cave story as good memories so i will omitt my experience with the modding community, i have did wrong ofc and i have been wronged but it doesn't matter anymore,  i was 14 and this was my first internet experience as a kid, i have really good memories off of modding, i now make games on my own and worked on team projects, it was a good experience to work off of the game i loved so much and wouldn't do indie games for if it wasn't thanks to him.

I regret nothing.
